By default, a status page lives at your-subdomain.status.uptimeio.com. On Pro and Scale you can serve it from your own domain instead, for example status.yourcompany.com. UptimeIO provisions the HTTPS certificate for you.

Connect a domain

1

Open the Custom Domain tab

Click Status Pages in the sidebar, open a page, and select Custom Domain.
2

Add the domain

Enter the domain in Domain, for example status.yourcompany.com, and click Add Domain. Use a subdomain of a domain you control.
3

Create the DNS records

Click Verify DNS. The dashboard lists the exact records to create, usually a CNAME record that points your domain to UptimeIO and a TXT record that proves you own it. Use the copy button next to each value, then add the records at your DNS provider.
4

Verify

Wait for DNS to update, then click Verify DNS again. The status changes from Pending verification to Verified. After verification, the HTTPS certificate status appears next to the domain.
Once verified, the page header and the View button use your domain.

Remove a domain

Click Remove and confirm. The status page goes back to its default status.uptimeio.com address.
