A status page is a public web page that shows whether your services are up. Visitors see the current status of the monitors you choose, their uptime history, and any incidents. Each page lives at its own address, for example acme.status.uptimeio.com.

Create a status page

1

Open the wizard

Click Status Pages in the sidebar, then Create Status Page.
2

Choose a template

Pick a starting point. A template only sets defaults, so you can change everything later.
3

Enter the basic information

Enter a Name (up to 255 characters) and an optional Description (up to 500 characters). UptimeIO suggests a Subdomain from the name. You can edit it.A subdomain uses 3 to 63 lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and it must be free. The dashboard checks availability as you type.
The subdomain is permanent. You cannot change it after you create the page, and links you share depend on it. To use your own domain instead, see Custom Domain.
4

Select monitors

Select at least one monitor to show on the page. Paused monitors are listed and marked as paused. You can give each monitor a public name and a group here, and drag monitors to set their order. See Status Page Monitors.
5

Set the branding

Choose a Theme (Light, Dark or System), a primary color as a hex value such as #3B82F6, and whether to show uptime graphs, show response times and allow search engines to index the page. A preview updates as you change the options. See Appearance and Branding.
6

Review and publish

Check the summary. Use Edit next to a section to go back to that step. Click Publish to make the page public, or Save as draft to publish later.
If you leave the wizard before you finish, it offers to resume your unfinished page the next time you open it.

Publish and unpublish

A page is either Draft or Published. Only published pages are visible to visitors. Open the page from Status Pages and click Publish or Unpublish at the top. Click View to open the public page in a new tab.

Limits

When you reach the limit, the wizard shows a message instead of the form. Delete a page or upgrade your plan to create more.

Manage a status page

Open a page from Status Pages to use its tabs.

Visitors can follow updates

Every public page has a Subscribe menu with an RSS Feed and an Atom Feed. Visitors can use either in a feed reader.
